REVA, Inc., the largest dedicated, fixed-wing, aero-medical services provider in the Americas, is pleased to announce a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the addition of Hawker 800XP, mid-sized jets, to its Northeast base of operations at Schenectady County Airport (SCH).

The ceremony will take place on September 12th at 3:30 PM in the REVA hangar at the Richmor Aviation FBO, 19 Airport Road, Hangar 2A – Scotia, NY 12302, and a BBQ sponsored by Richmor Aviation will follow the ceremony.

REVA is pleased to base its Northeast operation at the expanded Richmor Aviation FBO, now with a 14,000-sq. ft. hangar. Additionally, the work of New York’s US Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, who spearheaded the effort to secure the federal, state, and county $3.5 million-dollar expansion and improvements of the main SCH runway, is appreciated. Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh of the 112th NY State Assembly District, will be present and celebrating with us at the ceremony. “The expansion of REVA’s Northeast Air Operations Center at the Schenectady County Airport in Scotia is truly a cause for celebration,” said Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh. “I applaud REVA for its continued investment in this facility, and look forward to supporting this worthy organization’s worldwide air-ambulance services.”

The establishment of the REVA base has also brought local employment opportunities to the area. Seven (7) Hawker pilots and 21 medical personnel now call SCH their work home. Clients have reported that they are pleased REVA is well poised to provide vital aero-medical transport to Bermuda, the Caribbean, Europe and beyond. with the longer-range Hawkers.

The expansion and improvements make Schenectady County Airport the right Northeast home for REVA.
