Vice President of Flight Operations
Brian Beach brings more than 37 years in both Commercial and Military aviation. Mr. Beach is a leader in implementing safety and operation programs that drive efficiency, cost savings, and improve overall performance throughout the organization.
Before joining AOA associates as a senior associate, Mr. Beach was a consultant for Eastern Air Lines as the Director of Strategic Initiatives leading up to and during their Extended-range Twin-engine
Operations Performance Standards (ETOPS) certification. During this period Mr. Beach initiated
numerous programs that would significantly improve Eastern Air Lines operational performance.
Prior to consulting for Eastern, Mr. Beach was the Chief Operating Officer for Amerijet International
Airlines. As the COO for Amerijet, Mr. Beach implemented changes to Flight Operations, Safety,
Maintenance, and Cargo Departments. During his tenor as the COO, Mr. Beach helped Amerijet to more than double its revenue and triple its EBITDA, grow from 8 to 20 widebody aircraft, increase from 75 to over 200 pilots, establish an Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), and spearhead the company through the rigorous FAA ETOPS certification to completion, all within a period of 20 months. Before his role as the COO of Amerijet, Mr. Beach had an extensive career at American Airlines where he had increasing leadership roles with labor and management. During this time, Mr. Beach was the lead accident investigator and then Chairman of the National Safety Committee for the Allied Pilots Association (APA) and then transitioned to become Chief Pilot and Director of Flight for the Miami crew base.
Mr. Beach’s military experience includes 15 years of active/reserve duty in the U.S. Marine Corps serving as a squadron and instructor pilot flying F/A-18's. He graduated from the Naval Postgraduate Safety School and University of Southern California obtaining his Engineering Aviation Safety and Security certification.
